Jim is a strong advocate for the Labor community and the working men and women of Missouri. Jim strongly believes in: * Creating and maintaining good jobs for the people if Missouri is to prosper. * Our small businesses must be supported with reduced red-tape, streamlined rules, lowest possible taxes and laws conductive to attracting and maintaining business. * Using common sense in making laws for the people of Missouri. * Making Missouri public schools the best at educating our children, with full funding. * Protecting our senior citizens and reducing their tax burden. * Keeping our taxes as low as possible and every tax dollar should be spent wisely and accounted for. * That there should not be one single abused or neglected child or adult person in this State. * Giving people a hand-up not just a hand-out. * Our Veterans deserve to be treated with honor and respect in every way. * Reducing the increasing crime rate to make our homes and raising our kids safer. * Prison reform--Prisons should be a place where NO-ONE wants to go! Not a “country club“ to enjoy. * Politicians need to be held accountable for their actions. Some of them forget where they came from, who they work for and who they were elected to serve. This is the “Show Me State” we can show the rest of this Country how to be a leader in serving our citizens with integrity, honesty, common sense and how to educate our children, protect our citizens and attract and maintain small businesses.
